Why did we move across the world? What were we thinking? Are we going to stay there forever or come back right away? So many questions, so few answers. Some of them are here... black on white.
Both, my husband and I, were born in Europe and spent our childhoods there. For some good and some strange reasons we both always wanted to go back and live in Europe as adults. But we never had the guts... I mean time. We had responsibilities, you know. After we experienced a major life altering event, our daughter's death, we started questioning this thing called life. We didn't uncover any secret truths or epiphanies (although I wish we did), but one thing became clear - we have to live the life we want right now. Not tomorrow, not "one day", not when we have money or more time or when the kids are older... but TODAY. So, we packed up some stuff and moved to Montpellier, France for a year. My husband got a "real" job (that pays money), and I will continue "not working" at home. So this is us, living our life and making our dreams come true one day/croissant/glass of wine at a time in South of France (for now).
